We chat to Tam Sainsbury about PERFECT MESSY LOVE.

What inspired you to create PERFECT MESSY LOVE?

COVID last year inspired me to create this series as I felt like some lovely, light, feed good viewing entertainment was needed after the year we had all had. Plus due to other projects put on hold, I was desperate to get out and create!

What challenges did you face in creating this production?

COVID was a challenge as we went into production a few months after lockdown lifted so we had a lot of restrictions and when crew were sick they couldn't come to set until COVID results returned so we had to improvise very quickly. The time frame was also a challenge as we wanted to release it in December with it having a Christmas theme so we had only 6 weeks from the end of production to release. The micro budget was also a challenge!

What are you hoping audiences will take away from watching this film?

We want viewers to feel good and feel that there is always hope! It has themes of love and following your dreams and is designed as lovely light entertainment to help viewers escape and simply enjoy the romance.

What would you tell the viewers of PERFECT MESSY LOVE?

To enjoy Perfect Messy Love for what it is.... a romantic comedy with all the typical rom com beats and designed purely as light, feel good entertainment to help you escape and enjoy the romantic journey!
