You and a guest are invited to the big-screen industry premiere of ALL MY FRIENDS ARE RACIST, followed by a live virtual Q&A with some of the makers of the series including director Bjorn Stewart and executive producers Leah Purcell and Liliana Muñoz.
Best friends Casey (Davey Thompson) and Belle (Tuuli Narkle) live their best life together in Brisbane. He’s an aspiring influencer and she’s a budding lawyer. They are the hottest friendship in town and the party is always at theirs. They ARE the zoomer ELITE. That is until they’re cancelled.
When their ‘burn book’ wall, where they’ve listed all their friends as racists with receipts, is discovered, Casey and Belle are ousted from their entire friendship group. Belle thinks it’s the end of their social life but Casey sees it as an opportunity – they decide to post an anti-apology apology on YouTube and watch the outrage storm brew while coasting on likes and instant fame. But they soon find it’s them against the world and they need to stick together if they're going to ride the wave of cancellation fame.
The higher they go, the bigger the side-eyes and soon Casey and Belle’s friendship itself is at risk of being cancelled, as the best friends realise they don’t bring out the best in each other.
ALL MY FRIENDS ARE RACIST is a Maximo Entertainment and Hoodlum production, developed, produced and commissioned by the ABC, with principal production and development funding from Screen Australia in association with Screen Queensland.
