We are pleased to invite you and a guest to an exclusive preview screening of the first episode of the upcoming Paramount+ series, Playing Gracie Darling.

When Joni was fourteen, her best friend Gracie Darling disappeared during a séance. Twenty-seven years later, the local kids get their kicks ‘Playing Gracie Darling’ – but the seemingly innocent game turns sinister when another girl disappears under eerily similar circumstances. Joni, now a child psychologist, returns to the town to confront her deep fear of the unknown and find out what really happened to Gracie that fateful night.

Playing Gracie Darling, is a premium six-hour scripted mystery drama produced by Curio Pictures (The Narrow Road to the Deep North, The Artful Dodger).

Featuring International actors Morgana O’Reilly (The White Lotus Season 3, Three Friends Like Her), Dame Harriet Walter (Succession, Ted Lasso) and Rudi Dharmalingam (Wakefield, The Lazarus Project). Australian cast includes Celia Pacquola (Love Me, Rosehaven), Annie Maynard (Colin from Accounts, Upper Middle Bogan), Dan Spielman (The Code, New Gold Mountain) and Anne Tenney (The Castle, A Country Practice).

Written by Miranda Nation (four episodes) and Anya Beyersdorf (two episodes), and directed by Jonathan Brough.

Playing Gracie Darling is created and written by Miranda Nation (Undertow) and directed by Jonathan Brough (Rosehaven, The End). Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner of Curio Pictures Executive Produce. Sophia Mogford for Paramount and Miranda Nation are also executive producers. Produced by Rachel Gardner and Jo Porter, Laura Nagy is associate producer, with additional scripts written by Anya Beyersdorf (Fake).
