We are pleased to invite you and a guest to a special Q&A preview screening of KANGAROO, a family comedy set in the Australian outback, inspired by the story of Chris Barns aka ‘Brolga’, founder of the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs (Mparntwe).
Join us after the screening for a Q&A with director Kate Woods, producer Angela Littlejohn, editor Chris Plummer and production designer Sam Hobbs, hosted by Garry Maddox.
When ex TV personality, Chris Masterman (Ryan Corr), becomes stranded in an Outback town outside Alice Springs, he teams up with 12-year-old Indigenous girl Charlie (Lily Whiteley), and they form an unlikely friendship - working together to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned joeys in the remote but stunning Outback community - an endeavour that proves to be life-changing for them both.
