FINAL NOMINEES AND DETAILS ANNOUNCED
FINAL NOMINEES AND DETAILS ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2021 AACTA INDUSTRY AWARDS PRESENTED BY FOXTEL GROUP
A message from AACTA:
AACTA is committed to recognising and celebrating all of the elements and contributors that make our industry world-leading. We are proud of the fact that we do so across over 50 award categories despite the challenges that such a volume can present. While we would love to host multiple in-person ceremonies, as we have done in previous years, COVID restrictions, including ongoing venue uncertainty and capacity restrictions during our key planning period, have made this even more challenging in 2021. We acknowledge that only having one in-person event this year has disappointed some within the industry, we are confident that our virtual Industry Awards presentation will provide the respectful profiling and deserved celebration of all included awards and respective nominees.
After listening to and acknowledging feedback from the industry, we have also moved a few things around with the aim of presenting even more awards at this year’s live event. We look forward to celebrating with all of our industry peers in-person again next year. Please see below updated split of awards.

Fires, Clickbait, and New Gold Mountain are among the other TV shows picking up new technical craft nominations. Peter Rabbit 2, Nitram, High Ground, and The Dry also earned a suite of additional nominations.
