Voting

Voting in the AACTA Awards determines which productions, performers and practitioners will be honoured with Australia's highest screen accolade - an AACTA Award. Voting is exclusive to AACTA members, drawn from every sector of the screen industry: Free-to-Air Television, Streaming/SVOD/Subscription Television, Online, Film and Documentary.

Every AACTA Award will be decided by the people best placed to judge the work, through a process that's rigorous and representative. Our major award categories will now be determined by accredited professional members only, strengthening the experience, expertise and integrity behind every result. Craft Awards in Film, Television and Documentary will be determined by respective Chapters with accreditation aligning each member to the crafts they're qualified to judge. In our more specialised categories, dedicated juries will bring focused expertise to better determine outcomes, and a new Pre-Selection Committee will shortlist the Short Film field before it opens to the broader membership including General and Youth members, whose voting participation is welcomed across this category.

Join an AACTA Awards Jury or Committee

Best Online Drama or Comedy and Short Film pre-selection are now decided by dedicated panels of qualified peers, and we're building a pool of experienced practitioners to draw on. If you have relevant expertise and would like to help decide these categories, we'd love to hear from you.
