High Country Season 2 Premiere - Sydney

We are pleased to invite you and a guest to the NSW Premiere of the upcoming Binge Original High Country: What Lies Beneath.  

Join cast and creatives on the red carpet, followed by a complimentary pre-screening reception. After the screening we will be joined by lead actors Leah Purcell & Brendan Cowell, and executive producers Jo Porter and Rachel Gardener for a Q&A.

Set nine months after the first season, High Country: What Lies Beneath is the second installment of this eight-part mystery thriller. In the wake of a double murder aboard a Lake Eildon houseboat, the series follows Detective Andie Whitford (Leah Purcell) as she’s drawn into a case far more dangerous and personal than she ever imagined.

The series is created by Marcia Gardner and John Ridley, with episodes directed by Lucy Gaffy and Ben Lucas. Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner from Curio Pictures are Executive Producers, with Jo Porter, Rachel Gardner and Angie Fielder Producing. Leah Purcell AM is executive producer and lead actor of the series, also serving as First Nations Consultant. John Ridley serves as Executive Producer and lead writer of the series, with Marcia Gardner, Kim Wilson and Beck Cole also writing. Commissioned by Foxtel Executive Producer Lana Greenhalgh, with Executive Producer Penny Win. The series stars Leah Purcell, Ian McElhinney and Brendan Cowell.
