VFX & Animation Bake-Off

Finally back after a two-year hiatus, AACTA invites members and their guest to the Visual Effects or Animation Bake-Off, held at AFTRS in Sydney's entertainment precinct. 

The Bake-Off gives you an exclusive behind the scenes look at the Visual Effects of some of the world’s biggest productions over the past year, as well as hearing first-hand from the incredible practitioners behind them. 

Some of the year's most successful productions will be competing for a nomination for the AACTA Award for Best Visual Effects or Animation, including works for ELVIS, THREE THOUSAND YEARS OF LONGING, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME and THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER.

The Bake-Off will feature presentations from the teams behind each of the competing productions, which include screenings of their works, before and after sequences, and a 30-minute Q&A session.

AACTA’s VFX & Animation Bake-Off is exclusive and complimentary to AACTA members and VES members.
