our industry acknowledges and celebrates local creativity in television and cinema, and we are delighted and honoured to broadcast the AACTA Awards to our audiences via Foxtel Arts. We thank the commitment of AACTA, the creative community as well as the judges who make this important event happen, especially in 2020.”

Cutting Edge Head of Features and Television, Marcus Bolton said, “As the major post-production partner of AACTA, Cutting Edge is proud to be instrumental in ensuring the Awards can go on. Never before in our industry has there been so much adversity to overcome across all sectors in Media & Entertainment. To ensure the industry can still celebrate its creativity and ingenuity, in an online format for the first time, Cutting Edge and its creative and technical knowledge were called into play. AACTA required a partner for the Industry Awards to be post-produced for Screen Fest and broadcast, as well as the creative for the Live Ceremonies so as Australia's most experienced post-production studio, it is an honour to partner with AACTA to deliver this content.”

AACTA CEO, Damian Trewhella said, “We are incredibly grateful to the resourcefulness and can do approach of Cutting Edge who have taken what was once a luncheon and is now a show our industry colleagues can enjoy on their laptop or on Foxtel Arts on the Friday night. We might not be able to be together in the same room this year, but we think this is the next best thing to pay tribute to the outstanding skill and craft of our screen professionals.”

NSW Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney, Stuart Ayres said, “The success of Australia’s film and television industry is reliant on the hardworking professionals behind the scenes, from editors to sound recordists, hair and make-up artists to costume designers. I congratulate AACTA and Cutting Edge for reimagining this year’s Industry Luncheon to its new format to ensure our screen professionals are recognised for their exceptional contribution and achievements to the film and television industry.”
