AACTA Audience Choice Awards Top Five Revealed

AACTA introduced the AACTA Audience Choice Awards to 2020’s suite of celebrations last month. The initiative gave audiences the opportunity to cast their vote for the first time ever on Australian screen and artist achievements that have engaged audiences locally and abroad across the decade.

Voting ran for a week in October and AACTA can reveal the Top 5 in each category ahead of winners being announced this Wednesday night on AACTA’s Best of the Decade: Australia Decides, 8:30pm on Channel Seven.

The Top 5 across each category are as follows:

Tune in to AACTA’s Best of the Decade: Australia Decides on Channel Seven, Wednesday 2 December at 8.30pm, to see who wins the AACTA Audience Choice Awards.

There will be an encore on Foxtel Arts, Sunday 6 December at 9.30pm.

The 2020 AACTA Awards presented by Foxtel will be held on Monday 30 November in a reduced capacity with COVID safe plan in place. The ceremony will air on Foxtel Arts, Sunday December 6 at 7.30pm.

 

The AACTA Awards are supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

AACTA SCREENFEST

AACTA ScreenFest is online until 16 December 2020. Events are free, but bookings are essential at screenfest.com.au.

2020 AACTA Awards presented by Foxtel Ceremony will be held on Monday 30 November at The Star Sydney and broadcast on Foxtel Arts, Sunday 6 December at 7.30pm AEDT.

AACTA’s Best of the Decade: Australia Decides is a reimagined broadcast celebrating a decade of Australian screen and highlights from the 2020 AACTA Awards presented by Foxtel Ceremony will be on Channel Seven, Wednesday 2 December at 8.30pm AEDT and encore on Foxtel Arts, Sunday 6 December at 9.30pm AEDT.
