Mortal Kombat II - IMAX Preview, Melbourne

We’re pleased to invite you to an exclusive IMAX preview screening of MORTAL KOMBAT II. The sequel to 2021's MORTAL KOMBAT, this latest instalment was shot on the Gold Coast, with Australian Simon McQuoid returning to direct.

In the latest screen adaptation of the video game franchise, the champions of Earthrealm, now joined by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban), are forced into battle against one another as they fight to resist the rule of Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford), whose rise threatens the survival of Earthrealm and its defenders.

The cast includes Karl Urban, Ludi Lin, Jessica McNamee, Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Adeline Rudolph, Tati Gabrielle, Josh Lawson, Martyn Ford, Tadanobu Asano and CJ Bloomfield. Directed by Simon McQuoid, from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater, based on the video game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film is produced by Toby Emmerich, Todd Garner, Simon McQuoid, E. Bennett Walsh and James Wan.
