Sports Coverage entries for the 2019 AACTA Awards are now closed.
In order to be eligible, a Sports Coverage entry must:
- Be wholly produced or curated in Australia. Coverage can include content, such as Sporting games/matches, sourced internationally, however International content cannot be presented in isolation of, or without, significant Australian creative input.
- Have been screened between 28 October 2018 and 26 October 2019.
- Be a Production or series of Productions that relates to the presentation of Sports by a single broadcaster or channel. This includes the representation of a particular Sport across various and complimentary forms of programming.
- The entrant can submit up to 120 minutes of content.
Membership & Entry
Any productions entered into the AACTA Awards (or AFI Awards) for a previous year are ineligible.
Late entries will not be accepted.
In order to be eligible to enter the Sports Coverage category, a minimum of four Award candidates listed on the form must be current AACTA members. In the event that fewer than four Award candidates are listed on the form, then all Award candidates listed must be current AACTA members.
